In accordance with Republic Act No. 12178, as declared by Malacañang Palace, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) celebrated the first National Education Support Personnel Day by gathering members of the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA) at the Administration Building on May 16, 2025.

The celebration featured a Zumba session for non-teaching personnel, followed by a simple feasting courtesy of the Office of the University President, led by Dr. Enrique Baking, in collaboration with the NASA Office.

“Sana hindi natin tingnan sa estado ng trabaho ang isang tao o isang kasama natin, kundi tingnan natin siya bilang isang pamilya na nagtutulungan para sa ikauunlad at ikaa-achieve ng ating common goal na magserbisyo sa ating mga kliyente,” said Dr. Philip Rafael G. Malate, NASA president, in an interview.

He also reminded NASA personnel to carry out their roles with honor and dignity, reinforcing that they are an important part of the university system.
