To facilitate students' advancement in information and communication technology training, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) through the College of Computing Studies (CCS), in collaboration with the Extension Services Office (ESO), signed a partnership agreement with three public schools in the second district of Pampanga held at the University Hostel on August 30, 2024.
The three partner schools—Becuran Elementary School (BECES), Natividad Elementary School (NES), and San Vicente National High School (SVNHS)—will officially become beneficiaries of the year-long extension program "Beyond the Classroom Walls: Expanding Horizons with Digital Learning."
This program aims to bridge the digital literacy gap in rural and underserved communities, supporting public school teachers and parents in educating their learners.
During the ceremonial signing of the agreement, College Dean Joel D. Canlas, Project Head Reden Paul L. Rivera, Assistant Project Heads Hilene E. Hernandez, Myka A. Cruz, Ronnel C. Delos Santos, Philip I. Doctor, Earl Lawrence B. Pelayo, and Lionel G. De Lazo acted as representatives of CCS.
On the other hand, the following are the representatives of their respective institutions:
• BECES: Dr. Donnalyn L. Limin, School Principal II
• NES: Dr. Emeliza R. Sotto, School Principal III
• SVNHS: Jonalyn B. Zamore and Marife Peralta, Teacher II
The Center Managers, namely Engr. Inla Diana C. Salonga, Dr. Dean B. Lapuz, and Ms. Eloisa G. Mendoza, were also present on behalf of Engr. Rhoderick Favorito, ESO Director.
