To establish a comprehensive and inclusive program that empowers teachers and students through research, ICT productivity, and hospitality studies, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its Training Services Office (TSO), College of Computing Studies (CCS), and College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM), signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Mary the Queen College of Pampanga, Inc. (MQCPI) on October 8, 2024.

The agreement will fulfill two projects: Project CARPeD: Community Assist in Research and Professional Development for MQCPI, to be facilitated by the CCS, and KASANAYAN – Advanced Skills Training Workshop for MQC-IHTM, to be facilitated by the CHTM. The training programs aim to equip stakeholders with a wide range of skills and knowledge, seek to enhance educational outcomes, promote well-being, and foster an inclusive learning environment.

Representing DHVSU for the MOA signing are Dr. Dynah B. Soriano, TSO Director; Ms. Kathleen Joyce Coronel, CHTM Dean; and Mr. Joel Canlas, CCS Dean.

Meanwhile, the representatives of MQCPI are Ms. Charmaine Enciso, Dean of the Institute of Hospitality Management and Research Head, and Dr. Lanie Galvan, Vice President for Academic Affairs.

The projects will be led by Ms. Jeaneth Serna for KASANAYAN and Ms. Aileen de Leon for CARPeD.
