Another partnership was forged through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed between Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU)—through the DHVSU Mexico Campus (DMC), Extension Services Office (ESO), and Training Services Office (TSO)—and three schools in Pampanga, during a ceremony held at the DHVSU Mexico Campus Library Building on October 1, 2024.
The three new partner institutions are Saint Mary’s Angels College of Pampanga (SMACP), Anon Elementary School (AES), and Sto. Rosario Elementary School (SRES).
The MOA with the three institutions was established to fulfill the following: Project INSPIRE: Integrating New Strategies to Propel Innovative Research and Education; Project EMBARK: Exploring Multidisciplinary Bridges for Advancing Research and Knowledge-building; and Project EDIFY: Education Development Through Implementation of Quality Frameworks.
The projects focus on research and capability training, educational management system development, development of innovative research outputs, conduct of impact assessment, teaching and assessment methodologies, curriculum designing, crafting quality frameworks, and outreach activities.
Present during the ceremonial signing were Atty. Ma. Sharon R. Peñaflorida, SMACP President; Ms. Stella Marie P. Liwanag, Principal of AES; Ms. Rosalia G. Pascual, Principal of SRES; Dr. Vicky Pineda-Vital, Director of DMC; Mr. Mark Jameson E. Perez, Project Leader; Dr. Roque Francis B. Dianelo, DMC Extension Unit Coordinator; Mr. Amado Martinez, DMC Training Unit Coordinator; and ESO Center Managers, Engr. Inla Diana Salonga, Ms. Ma. Ferdelyn M Coutinho, and Ms. Eloisa G. Mendoza.
