Select personnel from Betis National High School (BNHS) paid a courtesy visit to Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) President Dr. Enrique Baking on February 19 to express their gratitude for the university's assistance in preparing their students, particularly in higher Mathematics and Science subjects.
This visit aligns with the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed between the two organizations on February 5, 2024.
As part of DHVSU’s social responsibility, the university has committed to providing technical, academic literacy, technology, innovation, and counseling services.
The Extension Services Office (ESO), College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), and the College of Social Science and Philosophy (CSSP) will facilitate services for BNHS-SHS.
The partnership was forged in the presence of DHVSU representatives, including Dr. Ranie Canlas, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training, and Extension; Engr. Rhoderick Favorito, ESO Director; Engr. Jun Flores, CEA Dean; Engr. Dante Manliclic, Mechanical Engineering Department Chairperson; and Dr. Nelly Pilao, CSSP Dean.
Representatives from BNHS, led by its School Principal Sienna D. Panganiban, as well as representatives from the Children's Joy Foundation and IMA's Home, also attended the event, along with select faculty and student council members from the concerned colleges.
