To guarantee the production of quality research outputs at Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), the Research Management Office (RMO) held its 5th online mentoring session on February 22- 23, 2024.

The sessions were divided into four clusters and led by invited mentors, including Dr. Ethelbert P. Dapitan, a DHVSU graduate school professor; Dr. Joel M. Torres from Central Luzon State University; Prof. Jay A. Yacat from the University of the Philippines-Diliman Department of Psychology; and Dr. Leila M. Collantes from the Department of Education Policy and Practice at Central Luzon State University.

“Soon, you might notice that we will check the Professional Field alignment of the research you are doing. This way, the time and effort you put in doing your research will not be wasted. Our goal here at the RMO is to help everyone in their personal professional growth objectives,” said Dr. Ranie B. Canlas, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training, and Extension in his welcome message.

The activity also provided research presenters with opportunities to explore ways to improve higher education quality and quality of life through research.

The event was organized by the RMO, headed by Dr. Robin Dimla, RMO Director, Dr. Jocelyn Arrozal, Center Manager for Humanities, Education, Management, and Social Sciences, Engr. Alma Tangcuangco, Center Manager for Science, Technology, and Engineering, Dr. Jay Pabustan, Center Manager for Data Processing and Senior Education Program Specialist, along with Rose Lynn Villanueva, Research Analyst, Nympha Reyes, Technical Writer, Ralph Cunanan, RMO Secretary, and the research coordinators and specialists.
