Two teams of students from the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) department waved the flag of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), securing placements in two different events during the 19th Regional Student Conference (RSCon), held at Holy Angel University in Angeles City on October 18, 2024.

Marking a significant first-time achievement for the DHVSU-EE department in advancing to the national stage, the quiz team for the 37th Regional Quiz Show secured third place, represented by Iñigo Kyle Cubacub, Kennrik Gifford Bunoan, Edmark Kobe Calaguas, Charles Daniel Capulong, and Livewen Dongallo, along with their coaches, Engr. Errol Canlas and Engr. Genesis Tiria.

Furthermore, the team of Dongallo, Cubacub, Caleb Acosta, Luigi Guiao, and Angel Gabriel Manio represented DHVSU in the 23rd Regional Math Wizard and clinched fifth place, guided by their coaches, Engr. Edward Joseph Agustin and Engr. Armie Tolentino.

The 19th RSCon was organized by the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE) Central Luzon Council of Student Chapters and was attended by various colleges and universities across Central Luzon and the province of Pangasinan.
