Honorian ECE representatives dominate provincial arena

The Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering students of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) finished off as overall champion in The Innovator’s Arena: Texas Instruments and IECEP Elite Edition, hosted by the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. – Pampanga Student Chapter in collaboration with Texas Instruments on October 16, 2024.

Below is the list of awards received by the IECEP – DHVSU Student Chapter:

First Place – Undergraduate Technological Pitching Competition
     • Research Title: SONAR: Sonar-based Observatory of Natural Aquatic Resource
     • Team Members: Romeo Jr. M. Yumul, Bianca Mari G. Salvador, Patricia Jewel M. Bonifacio , Mark Gilmore T. Arceo, and Emanuel T. Gutierrez
     • Coach: Engr. Emmanuel T. Trinidad


First Place – Elite Electronics Showdown
     • Team Members: Hanz Rafael V. Manuel, Angel Loren Ducut, and Luis Adrian Israel D. Tuazon
     • Coach: Engr. Nicholas D. Alonzo


First Place – Math Olympiad
     • Team Members: Mark Aceyork M. Cabatay, Jeroeim M. Echague, and Austin Paul P. Magtoto
     • Coach: Engr. Lester O. Natividad


First Place – Digital Poster Making Competition
     • Participant: Julian Miguel Gatchalian
     • Coach: Dr. Mary Anne M. Sahagun


First Place - ECEptionals: Programming of the Mind Competition
     • Team Members: John E. Bernardo, Jabez M. Ayson, and Elidan S. Lumbang
     • Coach: Engr. Elias Francis G. Vergara


Winners will represent the Pampanga province in the next level of the competition.
