Fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Statistics students from Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) secured second runner-up in the interactive challenges held during the Regional Data Festival (RDaFest) North Luzon, held at Subic, Zambales on October 3 to 4, 2024.

The Honorian Statisticians are Trisha T. Baldonado, Mary Jane G. Miranda, and Lije Eric Walther C. Montemayor, along with their coach, Ms. Anne Canlyn M. Manlutac, Chairperson of the Mathematics and Statistics Department.

Together with other delegates from Region 3, the three students participated in challenges that tested their critical and logical thinking skills.

This two-day activity was part of the celebration of the 35th National Statistics Month, with the theme “Harnessing the Power of Data and Statistics for a Future-Ready Filipino and Filipina Youth.”
