Honorian essayist bags first place in national contest

 

Roselhen Noreen Escoto, a fourth-year student from the College of Business Studies, won First Place in the English Essay Writing Contest (Regional) during the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) CommUnity Campus Caravan, held at the Heritage Hotel in Pasay City from October 24 to 26, 2024.

In her winning piece, Escoto highlighted the importance of learning history as a means to combat misinformation, disinformation, and historical revisionism.

She received her award on October 26, accompanied by Honorian faculty members Mr. John Ray Paguio and Mr. Jared Pabillon, as well as her mother, Ms. Marilyn Escoto.
