
The Industrialist, the official student publication of Pampanga State University, has once again proven its journalistic competence by snatching 21 awards at the 21st Luzonwide Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC) held at Tuguegarao City on March 17 to 19, 2026.
The event’s theme “Voices Ablaze: Campus Journalists as Vigilant Truthtellers,” rallied 1,189 student journalists from 167 publications in Luzon and the guest region, Visayas.
Keeping the victory streak alive, Indus triumphed across individual, group, and special events.

The awards received by Indus contributed to Central Luzon delegation, once again waving its flag as it emerged as the Best Performing Region in both group and individual categories and as the highest-pointer among participating regions.
The three-day event also marked the last Luzon-exclusive conference as it transitions to the National Higher Education Press Conference (NHEPC), which will be hosted by the Ilocos Region in Vigan City in 2027.
