
The Industrialist, the official student publication of Pampanga State University, secured another major win after clinching 46 awards at the 24th Regional Higher Education Press Conference (RHEPC) held at Palm Cabanas Resort from February 11 to 13, 2026.
In the overall ranking for best-performing student publications, Indus placed 5th in the individual categories and 8th in the group categories among 42 participating student publications from various higher education institutions in the Central Luzon region.
The scribes who placed from first to fifth in their respective categories shall proceed to compete in the Luzon-wide Higher Education Press Conference, to be held in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, from March 17 to 19, 2026.
Furthermore, two of the Indus’ artists were hailed as awardees of the Regional Outstanding Tertiary Campus Journalists 2026.
Hosted by the Association of Tertiary School Paper Advisers of Region III, Inc., the event was attended by 615 delegates and carried the theme: "VOICES ABLAZE: Campus Journalists as Vigilant Truthtellers."
