Mike Ronnel Castro, a third-year Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) student and a member of The Junior Philippines Institute of Accountants - Don Honorio Ventura State University (JPIADHVSU), once again demonstrated excellence in accounting by sealing first place in the Level 1 category of the 2023 Education Summit and Regional Competitive Accounting Quiz held at Tarlac State University - Lucinda Campus on October 6.
Last September, Castro clinched the top spot in the provincial level of the competition held at the Department of Budget and Management, SACOP Government Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
He was with by Anne Francesa L. Sanchez, also a BSA student, who claimed first place in the Level 2 Accounting Quiz Bowl, and Elyca-Wil B. Pangilinan, who earned the third-place spot in the Level 2 Accounting Quiz Bowl category. Sanchez and Pangilinan also competed in the regional competitions.
