Pampanga State University officially appointed Hon. Rodolfo P. Mendoza, Jr. as the new Private Sector Representative to its Board of Regents (BOR), taking his oath during the third quarter regular governing board meeting held at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Central Office on October 9, 2025.

Hon. Mendoza, Jr. currently serves as the President and Principal Structural Engineer of Petro Jikken, Inc., and as a Professional Lecturer at De La Salle University.

An alumnus of the University when it was still known as Don Honorio Ventura College of Arts and Trades (DHVCAT), he placed second in the November 2008 Civil Engineering Board Examination and was recognized as the 3rd Most Outstanding Civil Engineering Student of the Philippines in 2007.
