
To signify a mutual understanding and shared vision to cultivate a culture of volunteerism, service, and civic engagement, the Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U), through its Extension Services Office (ESO) together with the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held at the University Hostel on January 28, 2026.
The purpose of this agreement is to establish a relationship between PNVSCA and Pampanga State U in mainstreaming volunteerism within the academe.
The MOA signing was attended by representatives from Pampanga State University, including Engr. Reden M. Fernandez, Executive Vice President, concurrent Vice President for Administration and Finance, and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services; and Engr. Rhoderick M. Favorito, Director of the ESO, along with the ESO Center Managers.
Joining them were National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Regional Development Group Assistant Secretary (Ret.) Greg L. Pineda; PNVSCA Program Coordination, Monitoring and Evaluation Division Chief Ela Victoria F. Sarmago; and Department of Economy, Planning and Development Assistant Regional Director Aladin A. Ancheta.
This initiative strengthens the commitment of the Pampanga State U to instill the values of social responsibility, leadership, and service among its students, faculty, alumni, and staff.
