Honoring more than a century of academic excellence and public service with pride and gratitude, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) proudly celebrated its 164th Founding Anniversary on November 4, 2025.
As a prelude to the celebration, a Eucharistic Thanksgiving Mass was held at the Administration Building Lobby, presided over by Fr. Jose Antonio Paras, SDB, Spiritual Moderator of Don Bosco Academy–Bacolor. In his homily, Fr. Paras emphasized that the university’s anniversary is not only a time to honor its past but also an opportunity to look forward to the future.
“The anniversary is a moment in which we should look forward. We look forward in the first place because we see in the students are symbols of hope for the future of our country. Nandito kayo hindi para makatapos lang at magkaroon ng diploma. Above all, you are here to be agents of social transformation,” said Fr. Paras.
Following the thanksgiving mass, the campus came alive with a vibrant parade celebrating the university’s legacy, as students showcased the creativity, spirit, and diversity of the different colleges and departments.
The festivities continued with a booth fair at the L Pavilion in the Main Campus Extension Lot, where various student organizations and academic units showcased their talents, products, and innovations for the Pampanga State U community to enjoy.
The 164th Founding Anniversary brought together faculty members, students, and university officials for a meaningful day of thanksgiving and unity.
