As part of the celebration of the National Women’s Month 2026, Pampanga State University’s (Pampanga State U), through its Extension Services Office (ESO) in partnership with Occupation Safety and Health Office (OSHO), launched the Alaga kay Juana, Para sa Pamilya: Integrated Health and Community Support Services at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center on March 14, 2026.
Recognizing the efforts of students, faculty, and staff in giving their expertise and effort on the implementation of ESO and OSHO’s projects in the community, the office brought in the integrated health and community services.
“Naniniwala kami na give and take ang service, hindi lang take nang take or give tayo ng give kasi nakakaburn-out po yun emotionally, physically, and psychologically,” shared by Ma. Erika Joy David-Villar, one of the ESO’s Area Specialist.
This activity also aims to foster volunteerism to the community in connection with the forged partnership between the Pampanga State U and Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency.
A donation drive was also organized for the women and children of Barangay Tinajero, Bacolor and Del Pilar, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The activity was made possible through the partnership with Pampanga Medical Specialist Hospital for the bloodletting drive; Cathay YSS Distributors Co., Inc. for free medicine and supplements; Abe Community Center by LoveYourself for the free HIV testing; and Kiwanis Club of Bacolor and Kiwanis Club of Guagua New Generation for the provision of snacks and drinks.
ESO was led by Engr. Rhoderick Favorito, director, and OSHO was led by Rhiziel P. Manalase, director.
