To further expand their ongoing professional partnership, Sycip, Gorres, Velayo, and Co. (SGV & Co.) Clark visited Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) for a consultative meeting held at the Multipurpose Hall on September 9, 2024.

During the meeting, SGV & Co. Clark proposed additional perks for DHVSU, including the expansion of internship opportunities to the following programs:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mathematics
  • Bachelor of Science in Statistics
  • Engineering Programs
  • Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Bachelor of Science in Legal Management
  • Bachelor of Science in Psychology

Furthermore, the SGV & Co. Clark team mentioned that they may offer law review sessions for School of Law students, as well as sponsorships and seminars for the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – DHVSU Chapter.

The current Memorandum of Agreement between SGV & Co. Clark and DHVSU, signed in January 2024, focuses solely on sending students from the University’s Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program to SGV & Co. for internships.

These internships involve virtual learning tasks, activities, and exposure to various departments or units of the company.

The SGV & Co. Clark delegation included the following members:

  • Ms. Elgina A. Rito – Tax Director
  • Ms. Angelie Marcelo – Assurance Associate Director
  • Ms. Julian-Anne J. Deypalan – Talent Supervising Associate
  • Mr. Aldrich Galang and Mr. Aljen Santos – DHVSU Alumni

Meanwhile, the DHVSU representatives were led by Engr. Reden M. Hernandez, Vice President for Academic Affairs, concurrent OIC-Executive Vice President and OIC-Vice President for Administration and Finance, along with the following personnel:
