Indus wins 42 awards, claims overall champ tilt in 15th NCMC

The overall champion trophy has finally made its way to Bacolor!

The Industrialist, the official student publication of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), set a new record by taking home a total of 42 awards during the School Press Advisers’ Movement, Inc. (SPAM, Inc.) 15th National Campus Media Conference (NCMC), held at Angels’ Hill Retreat Center in Tagaytay City, Cavite, from September 18-20, 2024.

After finishing as first runner-up in last year's 14th NCMC, the publication made history again by having the DHVSU hymn sung and heard on a national stage for the first time, as DHVSU was recognized as the overall champion for the tertiary level.

The student publication was awarded first place for Campus Newspaper of the Year and second place for Best Campus Magazine of the Year in the school paper category.
