To participate in the deliberation of the budget proposal for State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) for fiscal year (FY) 2025, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) President Dr. Enrique G. Baking attended the pre-plenary hearing and plenary budget deliberation held at Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City on September 17-18, 2024.
The DHVSU delegation, along with Dr. Baking, includes Dr. Ranie B. Canlas, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training, and Extension and concurrent Executive Assistant to the President; Dr. Luis M. Lansang, Director of the Finance Management Services Office; Dr. Eddiebal P. Layco, Director of the Planning and Development Office; and Ms. Charito M. Layag, OIC-Budget Officer.
The House Committee on Appropriations conducted the activity, which was attended by SUC Presidents from across the nation.
The budget hearing for FY 2025 will be held on October 1, 2024, at the Senate of the Philippines in Pasay City.
