To promote cooperation and mutual understanding, Mekeni Food Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) at the University Hostel on September 23, 2024.

The MOU aims to develop collaborative activities between both parties in areas of interest such as technical seminars, career talks, job fairs, staff training, student internships, information sharing, and other mutually agreed-upon initiatives.

Present at the ceremonial signing were the top management of the University, including Dr. Enrique G. Baking, University President; Engr. Reden M. Hernandez, Vice President for Academic Affairs, concurrent OIC-Executive Vice President and OIC-Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Ranie B. Canlas, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training, and Extension Services, and concurrent OIC-Director of the Procurement Management Office and Executive Assistant to the President; and Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, concurrent Dean of the Graduate School, Director of the GAD Focal Point System, and OIC-Director of the Office of Culture and the Arts.

Representing Mekeni Food Corporation were Mr. Prudencio Garcia, Mekeni President, together with his team: Ms. Marilou Uy, Assistant Vice President for Human Resources; Ms. Nanette Garcia, Human Resources Head; and Ms. Nicola Lapeña, Human Resources Recruitment Supervisor.

The activity was organized by the Public Relations and Industry Linkages Office – Industry Linkages Unit, led by Director Kathleya Vianca P. Habon, in cooperation wih the Office for Student Welfare and Formation, led by Director Plato B. Mercado.
