The State Universities and Colleges Region III (SUC III) showcased remarkable achievements and talents in the recently held SUC Fair at SM City Iloilo, Iloilo City, last July 10–13.

With the theme, "Navigating the Global Landscape through Innovations, Cultural and Arts Preservation, and Higher Education Quality," the SUC Fair 2023 brought together educators, students, and researchers from various SUCs in the Philippines.

Among the participating regions, SUC III was among the top performers and left a significant mark by securing multiple awards in various categories.

SUC III received several awards, which include the special award for Best Agri Product, second place for the same event edit, second place in a songwriting competition, third runner-up in Mr. SUC Fair, and fourth runner-up in Ms. SUC Fair.

University President Dr. Enrique G. Baking, Planning Officer Director Eddiebal P. Layco, Office of Culture and Arts Director Rowell Cruz, Research Management Office Director Robin Dimla, Quality and Management Systems Office Director Emmanuel Parreno, Knowledge Management and Innovation Office Director Ana Liza Nacion, and Laboratory High School Principal Jerame Gamboa represented Don Honorio Ventura State University in the said event.
