In an effort to develop smart campuses, representatives from Tarlac State University (TSU) visited the Management Information System (MIS) office of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) on August 24th.
The TSU Procurement Office staff, including May Teofilo, Winnie Fe Gutierrez, Jes Fontanilla, and Joshua Jacinto, explored the functionalities of recently acquired smart interactive whiteboards and smart televisions.
The primary objective of the visit was to gain insights into the integration and utilization of newly acquired digital equipment, in alignment with the vision set forth by the Commission on Higher Education - Region 3, which focuses on infrastructure development for smart campuses and the operationalization of face-to-face classes.
TSU personnel aimed to assess the after-sales issues of the product purchased by DHVSU. This evaluation is significant as they are also considering the procurement of the same equipment.
MIS Director Angelito Quito of DHVSU warmly welcomed the TSU delegation, discussing the advantages of the digital equipment and demonstrating its common uses and important functions.
