The College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) Student Council at Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) hosted its 8th Practicum Pinning Ceremony, where 223 senior psychology students marked their commitment to excel in their chosen career path. The ceremony was held at the University Auditorium on August 24.
The pinning ceremony symbolizes the dedication of fourth-year students to obtaining the essential knowledge for their future careers.
The event was divided into morning and afternoon programs, each featuring DHVSU alumni as speakers. Ma. Andraelle D. Balatbat, a pioneer of DHVSU Psychology, graced the morning session, while Carmela V. Espinoza, a psychology instructor, took the stage as the speaker in the afternoon program.
The event also included an orientation for the students' upcoming on-the-job training, conducted by SIPP Coordinator Sherna Bangalan. Among the attendees were the parents of the pinning participants and the instructors from the DHVSU Psychology program, led by Dr. Nelly N. Pilao, Dean of CSSP.
