Bringing Honorians together to celebrate the universityhood of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), the much-anticipated University Days (UDays) officially commenced with a parade led by the DHVSU Marching Band, followed by an opening program hosted by the University Student Council (USC) at the Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center on March 5, 2025.

With the theme “Tadhana ng Salinlahi: Empowering Filipino-Honorian Values and Tradition by Honoring Roots and Transforming Success,” the USC encouraged participants of the opening ceremony to embrace DHVSU's history— both the good and the bad—that have shaped the path of the Honorians.

As we embark on this momentous occasion, we encourage everyone to uphold our values and traditions and honor them as Filipino-Honorians," USC President Missy Ruela Cortez said in her welcome remarks.

Cortez also encouraged students to face life's challenges with perseverance, understanding, and patience—just as DHVSU rose from the ashes brought by the lahar in the 1990s.

UDays will be celebrated from March 3 to 5, 2025, featuring interactive booths organized by various student organizations, beauty pageants, singing and dance contests, and other talent competitions.
