IPD, DHVSU signs agreement to promote food safety, sustainable growth initiatives

Dedicated to establish a comprehensive and inclusive program to enhance professionalism, promote sustainable growth strategies, and improve food safety practices, Izzamawy Pastries and Delicacies (IPD), formalized a Memorandum of Agreement with Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its Mexico Campus (DMC) and Training Services Office (TSO) held in Sapang Maisac, Mexico, Pampanga on February 24, 2025.

DHVSU plans to extend its services to IPD through the project entitled “Empowering Izzamawy Pastries and Delicacies: A Holistic Training Program for Food Safety, Employee Excellence, and Business Growth.”

This project aimed to provide training and workshops designed to establish standards and enhance food safety practices through three key Food Safety Management frameworks: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Halal food production for IPD personnel.

Furthermore, the project also seeks to improve educational outcomes, promote well-being, and foster a professional environment equipped with a diverse range of skills and knowledge for the participating professionals.

Present at the event were Dr. Vicky P. Vital, DMC Director; Dr. Dynah D. Soriano, TSO Director; Mark Jameson E. Perez, DMC Academic Chairperson; Amado B. Martinez, DMC Training Unit Coordinator; as well as Center Managers and other faculty members of DMC.

On the other hand, IPD was represented by Ms. Marissa Santos, CEO, and Ms. Christina Marquez, Production Supervisor.
