The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) recognized the initiatives of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), particularly its Graduate School, as the pioneering institution partnering with ARTA to offer a Master in Public Administration with a major in Regulatory Management
System (MPA-RMS).
The recognition was given for DHVSU’s role in promoting the ‘Ease of Doing Business’initiative during the ARTA’s 2024 Ease of Doing Business Convention, held at the Sheraton Hotel in Pasay City on October 29, 2024.
Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services and concurrent Dean of DHVSU’s Graduate School, received the plaque of recognition on behalf of University President Dr. Enrique G. Baking.
Dr. Quiambao also met with the Ambassador of Israel to the Philippines, His Excellency Ilan Fluss, a key ARTA partner in capacity-building programs. ARTA’s Director General, Secretary Ernesto V. Perez, presented the plaque alongside Deputy Director General for Operations,
Undersecretary Gerald G. Divinagracia; Mr. Carlemil Kennedy Jan C. Jacosalem, Executive Assistant and DHVSU Graduate School professor for RMS programs; and Mr. Arlou Kier Motas, Executive Assistant in the Office of the Director General.
In his remarks, Secretary Perez, who also served as a faculty member at DHVSU’s Graduate School, praised the university for advancing the Ease of Doing Business initiative in the Philippines, ultimately enhancing government services nationwide.
The MPA-RMS program at DHVSU Graduate School is set to serve as a benchmark for other state universities in the Visayas and Mindanao.
