
To enhance the reliability, functionality, and sustainability of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U), through its Extension Services Office (ESO) and the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), formally sealed a partnership with Bacolor Integrated School (BIS) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held at the Multipurpose Hall on November 4, 2025.
The agreement marks the official launch of Project BITE: Boosting Infrastructure for Technology Enhancement, carrying the tagline āTaking a Bite Out of ICT Problems!ā
The initiative aims to strengthen the ICT infrastructure of BIS by providing technical maintenance, system upgrades, and capacity-building services.
Additionally, the project will provide technical assistance such as the repair and maintenance of ICT equipment and network systems, as well as training sessions for faculty and staff on basic ICT troubleshooting and maintenance.
Representing Pampanga State University at the event were Engr. Rhoderick M. Favorito, Director of the Extension Services Office, along with ESO Center Managers and faculty members from the Computer Engineering Department of the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA). This included Engr. Juvy C. Grume, Project Lead Coordinator, and Engr. Asil Kastle S. Dela Cruz, Assistant Coordinator, who represented Engr. Jun Flores, CEA Dean.
Meanwhile, BIS was represented by Fe G. Bognot, School Principal III; Sylvia Zerline S. Quizon, Master Teacher II; and Lea D. Aguilar, Master Teacher I.
