Situated on a 1.5-hectare lot, the 9th Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) campus will rise in the eastern part of Pampanga, as the DHVSU Floridablanca Campus (DFC) was officially inaugurated on March 6, 2025, in Brgy. Santa Monica, Floridablanca, Pampanga.
The construction of the P43,677,467.51 three-story building in for DFC will now begin and is expected to be completed by December 2025.
This project is a collaboration between the Provincial Government of Pampanga, the Provincial Engineer’s Office, and the Municipality of Floridablanca, Pampanga.
“Kagaya po ng sinabi ng mga naunang nagsalita, gusto po natin na ang ating mga kabataan ay makapagtapos ng pag-aaral at maging produktibong mamamayan ng rating bayan… This is the start marami pa po tayong gagawin na mga improvements and development lalong lalo na po in the field of health and education,” Rozen Alfonso, OIC- Director of DFC, said in his message of appreciation.
Present during the groundbreaking ceremony were Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, representing DHVSU President Dr. Enrique G. Baking, along with the administrative council members.
Also in attendance were Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, Pampanga Second District Representative Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo, Floridablanca Municipal Mayor Darwin Manalansan, Floridablanca Municipal Vice Mayor Michael Galang, the Floridablanca Sangguniang Bayan Members, Special Assistant to the Governor Angelina Blanco, and Provincial Engineer Noli Pangan.
DFC is expected to accommodate at least 3,000 students once it starts operations in two to three years.
