Furthering international friendly relations, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) and Human Resource University (HRU) of Cambodia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote education and academic exchanges, with the virtual signing ceremony held via Google Meet on November 20, 2024.

DHVSU and HRU will work together to encourage research cooperation and interaction between their institutions, facilitating mutual exchange and visits for academic activities, studies, and research involving faculty members and students.

In addition, the MOU also includes collaborative research, extension, and training activities, language and culture programs, joint academia-industry cooperation initiatives, and other academic resources.

Present during the virtual ceremonial signing were the DHVSU top management, including Dr. Enrique Baking, University President; Engr. Reden Hernandez, Vice President for Academic Affairs, concurrently serving as OIC-Executive Vice President and OIC-Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Ranie Canlas, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training, and Extension; and Dr. Dolores Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services.

The DHVSU administrative council was also represented by Dr. Dynah Soriano, Director of the Training Services Office; Engr. Rhoderick Favorito, Director of the Extension Services Office; Dr. Mildred Crisostomo, Director of the Office for International Partnerships and Programs; and Ms. Kathleya Vianca Habon, OIC-Director of the Public Relations and Industry Linkages Office, who also joined the virtual meeting.

HRU was represented by its University Rector, Dr. Chea Sopheap, along with his administrative staff, including Mr. Kru Ramo, Mr. Chan Horm, Mr. Ork Sophea, Mr. Sokunliza Long, Mr. Noch Chun, and Mr. Sip Pagnasoley. Mr. Vandet Mean, Director of the Tourism Professional Training Department of the Ministry of Tourism in Cambodia, was also present.
