Ardaniel Waje, a second-year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology student from the Don Honorio Ventura State University - Mexico Campus (DMC), clinched first place in the infographic-making contest organized by the Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office III held last October 2024.

The contest was part of the 35th National Statistics Month (NSM) celebration focusing on NSM’s theme “Empowering the Nation: Digital Transformation in Data and Statistics”, Waje highlighted in his winning infographic the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and inflation rate from August 2023 to August 2024 across the provinces and major cities in Central Luzon (Region III).

Waje received his plaque and prize on November 21, 2024, and was accompanied by his teacher coach, Mr. Ariel Guadalupe, along with other IT instructors at DMC, Ms. Nhica Del Rosario and Mr. Elijah Lopez.
