Juris Doctor (J.D.) Program - The Juris Doctor (J.D.) Program at the DHVSU School of Law provides a comprehensive study of the general principles and foundational theories of law. It is designed to equip students with a deep understanding of the Philippine legal system through a systematic and analytical exploration of statutes, codes, and interpretive decisions of the Supreme Court.

The J.D. Program is open to individuals holding undergraduate degrees in various disciplines, as well as those who have previously studied law in civil law countries or other jurisdictions. Students engage with diverse legal materials, including textbooks, statutes, case law, and authoritative legal texts.

The curriculum emphasizes contextualizing Philippine laws within the nation’s unique legal and societal framework, preparing students for a successful career in the legal profession.
